Howdy CSCC Families,
Wow! – can you believe it is already August?! We wish our kindergartners all the best in school and welcome our new families joining us! Did you know August is designated Children’s Eye Health and Safety Month? A good rule of thumb is to examine your children’s eyes during well-child visits, beginning around age three.
This Fall, we have a lot of fun events planned, and exciting things are happening. We are excited for you to meet our new staff (photos coming soon!). Starting this Fall, our children will be served hot, nutritious foods through our new food program. We will also have New Family Orientation, Meet the Teacher and Open House.
The Charlotte Sharp Children’s Center will be closed on August 7-9 to prepare for the new school year. During this time, teachers will update their classroom schedules and redesign the classroom environment. Our teachers carefully plan the physical environment, knowing how it influences the children’s learning experiences.
We look forward to starting our new school year on August 12!
