HOWDY FAMILIES AND FRIENDS!
The children settled back into learning quickly after the winter break. Classrooms have been exploring projects including winter animals, insects, artists, and friendship. The ice and snow followed by many days of rain provided opportunities for dance parties in the classroom, extra time with the STEM materials in the multi-purpose building and playing outside in the mud!
Historically, the spring semester at Becky Gates Children’s Center has always been full of many fun family activities and this spring is shaping up to be an exciting one. Make plans to Walk Across Texas with us, join friendship celebrations in the classrooms, add a wish for your child to the wishing wall for Lunar New year, Read Across America with you little ones, share your ideas with other parents at the Parent Café, and celebrate children during Week of the Young Child.
