We are happy to see returning families and welcome new families this fall semester! The children are beginning to acclimate to their new environments and build strong relationships with their teachers and peers. With the start of another school year, we have many fun events planned throughout the semester. We will have our first family event in September with food and fun on the playground. More information coming soon about this event. Do not forget to wear Maroon every Friday in support of our Aggies!

Thank you to families who have returned your interest form to be a part of the Family Advisory Board for the 2022-2023 school year. The Family Advisory Board (FAB) is composed of parents representing all BGCC families and seeks to create positive family experiences, act as a sounding board for family concerns, and provide advice to BGCC administration as well as supporting our mission. If you are interested in serving on the FAB, please submit this form to [email protected] by September 16, 2022. The FAB meets two times during the fall semester and two times during the spring semester via Zoom. Our first meeting of the school year is scheduled for September 20 from 10:00-11:00 a.m.

It is hard to believe that our playground has been completed for almost one year! We are still enjoying our new space and know we will for many years to come. Our next big adventure at BGCC is to replace the flooring in the MP building and create studio spaces for the children. We are looking forward to our future STEM and library studios! We hope to have this next project completed by January 2023.

Couple of reminders…

• We will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5 in observance of Labor Day.
• School pictures are scheduled for Sept. 27-29.  Pictures are done by Karen at Lasting Memories. Fall semester pictures will include a simple blue background, Karen will return in the spring for more pictures with a different background. A schedule for classroom picture dates and times and information about when pictures will be available for purchase will be emailed to you when we get closer to picture days.

Classroom Family Directory

The Classroom Family Directory includes contact information provided by the parents who opt to participate. The directory allows for families to connect and build relationships with other BGCC families. The contact information is private, and we ask you do not share with others. You will receive an email soon about opting in or out of the directory.

Family Night Out

 We had parents request a Family Night Out. Although we are unable to provide that service at this time, there are many places in the BCS area who do. Here is a list of local places who have a Parent Night Out List 

Babysitter List

As soon as we complete the fall hiring process, we will update and email out the BGCC Babysitting list for you to use as needed. This list is comprised of TAMU students willing to babysit outside of their school and working hours. Remember, the babysitting list is used to arrange a private agreement between you and another person outside of BGCC regular operations hours. We are not responsible for private agreements between a family and staff member.
