We hope everyone had a wonderful break! We are glad to be back and hope to have another amazing semester with your wonderful children!

Welcome to our new families who have recently started. We hope you get settled in and enjoy being a part of the Becky Gates Children’s Center family.

• We recently had our annual licensing inspection and we scored 100% with zero deficiencies. We were commended for our sanitation practices witnessed in the classrooms and our learning activities going on. Thanks to all our hard working team to make this happen!
• If you haven’t had a chance, please review the updated COVID-19 modifications for the spring semester. There haven’t been any significant changes except not having to use the QR at pick-up times. We are still following the CDC and Texas Health and Human Services guidelines. We will notify you of any changes via email once we know about it.
• We want to congratulate all our December graduates. You’ve worked hard and we are proud of you!
• There are still openings for the spring semester. If you know of anyone who is looking or would like to join our family, please send them our way, we would love to have them.

A few reminders as we all come together again:

• If your child does have a symptom, please notify the center and not return until a medical doctor provides a note saying you child may be in group care.
  • We understand this can be difficult since young children often have runny noses; however, we must be certain it is not COVID-19 and only a doctor can determine that.
• If someone in your family is being tested for COVID-19 or has symptoms of COVID-19, please keep your child home until you know it is safe to return.
• Texas A&M University is requiring all staff to get tested for COVID-19 between Jan. 2-12. That means all staff, including student workers, will get a COVID-19 test the first week of returning.
