Thank you for filling out the family workshop survey. It was a close one, however, the majority vote was from 12-1 PM. The first family workshop of the school year is titled, “Being Part of a Family” (Highscope, 2014). During this workshop we will:

1. Describe what is meant by “being part of a family and
2. Identify ways to support children as part of a family.

Week 5 menu change. For snack we are permanently replacing yogurt with sunbutter since we have yogurt the Friday before. Thanks!

Center Event

On October 30, 2020 the children will trick-or-treat center-wide safely during the morning hours. The schedule is as follows:

• Bumblebees: 9:00 AM – 9:15 AM
• Butterflies: 9:15 AM – 9:30 AM
• Ladybugs: 9:30 AM – 9:45 AM
• Blue Jays: 9:45 AM – 10:00 AM
• Robins: 10:00 AM – 10:15 AM
• Hummingbirds: 10:15 AM – 10:30 AM
• Seals: 10:30 AM – 10:40 AM
• Whales: 10:40 AM – 10:50 AM
• Seahorses: 10:50 AM – 11:00 AM
• Panthers: 11:00 AM – 11:10 AM
• Tigers: 11:10 AM – 11:20 AM
• Jaguars: 11:20 AM – 11:30 AM

Costumes are welcome. Only one classroom will walk the halls at a time. They will not enter another classroom when stopping at each classroom to trick-or-treat. Staff handing out treats will have clean hands and wear gloves. All treats will follow our wellness policy. We hope we are able to bring a little joy to the children’s day! Don’t worry, we will take lots of pictures to send you! If you do not want your child to participate please email Erica, [email protected] to opt out of the event.
