Center Events:

Reminder, we will be closed on October 15th for Professional Development. Our teachers will be busy learning about educational philosophy, how to mentor and be a mentee, reviewing parts of the HighScope Curriculum, learning about positive behavioral supports, how to problem solve with children, how to approach social conflicts with young children, and to how to have better conversations with young children.

Please join us this month for our Fall Family Fun Night! We have lots of fun activities planned on our new playground this year! See the flyer below for more information.

This month we also have our Book Fair October 25th-29th. Don’t forget to check it out in the MP building throughout the week between 4:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. The book fair will also be open during the Fall Family Fun Night.

Action Items:

1. Family Board Members: Establish five goals for this year’s FAB. These goals need to be set by the end of next meeting so progress can be made before the end of the year.

a. These goals should be based, at least in part, on data available from Family Satisfaction Survey.
