RECIPE OF THE MONTH: Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Wash your hands with soap and water, then gather all your equipment and ingredients and put them on a counter.

- Cutting board
- Dinner knife
- Measuring cup
- Measuring spoons
- Can opener
- Blender (adult needed)
Ingredients
- 1⁄4 cup orange juice
- 1⁄4 cup milk
- 1⁄2 cup plain yogurt
- 1⁄4 cup canned pumpkin puree
- 1⁄2 very ripe banana
- 1 pinch ground cinnamon and/or ground nutmeg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 ice cubes
Instructions
- Put all the ingredients in the blender.
- Put the top on tightly. Turn on the blender to medium speed and blend until the ice is chopped and the mixture is smooth, 30 to 60 seconds.
- Divide the smoothie equally between 2 glasses and serve right away, or refrigerate up to 4 hours.
